Cooper College Quest (CCQ), founded by Barbara Cooper, MA, MS, PD, EdD. guides high school students, transfer students, international applicants, and adults who aspire to continue their education.
A recognized leader in the field of counseling and guidance,
Dr. Cooper has worked for over 35 years as a college admissions counselor, high school assistant principal, and high school English teacher. The key to Dr. Cooper’s success lies in her knowledge about current trends in college admissions as well as her ability to help applicants assess and communicate their personal and academic strengths. The goal of Cooper College Quest is to guide clients to choose “best fit” colleges, including “dream,” “target,” and “safe” schools. CCQ students have experienced outstanding success with this simple and effective strategy. Knowledgeable and experienced, Dr. Cooper remains independent of any colleges or universities.
CCQ provides students with customized counseling sessions which address all issues related to college admissions, including:
• Self assessment: Identifying academic and personal strengths
• The college search process: Making wise decisions
• Presentation of self: Communicating goals, strengths and interests
• Personal essays: Exploring passion, resilience, and curiosity
• Time management: Developing a timely college search plan
